InZone celebrates a decade of fruitful collaboration with ICRC
On Friday, October 14th, as part of the University of Geneva’s Dies Academicus celebrations, Rector Yves Flückiger and Yves Daccord, Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross, signed a Framework Agreement for Cooperation.
The Agreement formalizes numerous partnerships between the University and ICRC in fields including education, research, history, law, medicine and humanitarian action. It will also support the introduction of training and pedagogical innovation programs.
InZone has been working with the ICRC for over a decade, providing training for humanitarian interpreters deployed to work at ICRC sites in the field.
We welcome the signing of this new Framework Agreement, and look forward to many more decades of working with the ICRC to provide innovative solutions to challenging humanitarian problems.
