World Disaster Report (2013)
Published by the International Federation of Red Cross Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), The World Disasters Report 2013 examines the impact of technological innovations on humanitarian action.
Humanitarian education is one of the domains that have been most impacted by the use of innovative technology. Box 1.3 (pg 26) explores how technology can be leveraged to make anytime, anywhere learning accessible in low-income countries, where the majority of technology users are "mobile-only".
The report also explore how technology is changing the education paradigm, enabling learners to construct knowledge collectively using the media at their disposal.
